Bhar

In the Fourteenth Century the Sikh religion was gaining popularity because the evil race were becoming extremely aggressive and abusive to the citizens. The 10th Guru, Gobind Singh picked up the valours (strong willed) from his followers and they all had one surname i.e., Singh. After the death of this Guru some of the Valours settled down in a village named Allou-Wall near Lahor-Amristsar in the Punjab. Their main source of income was from producing spirits, wine and other exotic drinks. They became a very rich and powerful family. Their surname Ahluwalia originated from the name of the village of Allouwall. The name Bhar was given to the head of the tribe when the word B was read out from the Sikh's Holy Book by the Holy Man (priest). This name was kept secret even when the family became the Maharaja over one of the 12 strong territories called Kapurthala before Ranjit Singh ruled over the Northern parts of India successfully. The Bhar family established their name when they retook the sword in their hand to exterminate evil and protect the helpless during the sixteenth Century. Their main goal is to achieve peace and happiness wherever they settle or travel (Almighty is their Saviour). The Bhars are known to be very successful in war and the strategy of war, always choose the right path. The first Bhar arrived in London in 1963 and made an attempt to set up in Industry and Commerce. Married into the Dennis family in 1969, the marriage produced a daughter. There are few Ahluwalias living in the U.K. with different surnames; they are aware of Bhar's presence here.
